For several years, Autonomy has supported FISPES – Federazione Italiana Sport Paralimpici e Sperimentali – through a shared journey that promotes sport as a tool for inclusion, autonomy and personal growth.
The collaboration develops through support for national and international events, championships and meetings dedicated to para athletics and wheelchair rugby, helping to showcase athletes’ talent and to the values of Paralympic sport.
Over the years, Autonomy has participated as a partner in numerous events organized by the Federation, including the Italian Absolute Para Athletics Championships and the Italian Open in Jesolo, the Italian stage of the international World Para Athletics Grand Prix circuit, which each year brings together hundreds of athletes from all over the world.
The goal is to guarantee everyone the chance to take part in competitions in conditions of comfort, safety and full accessibility, in line with Autonomy’s mission to promote freedom of movement for every person.
Through this partnership, Autonomy supports a vision of sport that goes beyond competitive results: a place of meeting, growth and equal opportunity, where differences become strengths and every finish line represents a step forward toward a more inclusive society.
The collaboration with FISPES confirms Autonomy’s commitment to promoting projects that improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, support initiatives, and place at its heart the values of autonomy, participation and the right to experience sport without barriers.
